Silence

Silence,

Does listening to the sound of yourself scare you?

Why does Silence cause fear and uncomfortable feelings?

Meditation (sitting in Silence) has changed my life in difficult-to-explain ways.

Behind closed eyes amid quiet, another world is accessible through patience and practice.

Welcoming the voice we run from and dealing with it will allow you access to this place.

We all have that voice in our head.

Pointing us in the direction of where to go.

It's a soft nudge, a whisper.

Getting drowned out by the easy dopamine hits we have at our disposal.

From our Phones, which deliver instant entertainment, to vapes, which allow instant relief in any situation without the stigma of smelling like a smoker.

Our ability to sit in Silence is lost, seen as odd or for the lazy.

We avoid ourselves, focusing on anything that resonates with us without the challenge.

By dealing with the Silence and allowing it to absorb you, your brain starts to address all the experiences you would rather forget about.

Think of your mind as a library.

Imagine you have hundreds of books open all over the ground, not in their rightful place.

Each book represents an experience you are refusing to deal with.

Silence allows those books to be analyzed, cover to cover, and placed back in their rightful spot.

Gathering the lessons and feeling all you remember from that experience, accepting the ending, and placing the book neatly on the shelf.

When you have a well-organized library, those horror stories become reference guides on how to deal with life's challenges.

.

Peace will consume you, and creativity will flow in whatever direction you point it in.

Allow Silence to invade your routine. Ten minutes of meditation daily has changed my life and will do wonders for everyone.

Remember, it's always day 01, and it's never too late to start living good to die great.
